BEVERLY HILLS // THE LIFE
A distinguished community covering less than six square miles, Beverly Hills is where the successful and fortunate live very comfortably. Adding to its exclusivity, many of Beverly Hills’ fortunate are often celebrities.
In Beverly Hills, the starlight sparkles off Ferraris and Mercedes-Benzes like candlelight on a diamond necklace. Beautifully tree-lined, even the streets are bedazzled with silvery fire hydrants.
BEVERLY HILLS // THE LOCATION
In between Wilshire and Sunset boulevards, you will find what is sometimes called “The Golden Triangle,” framed by Santa Monica Boulevard to the northwest, Canon Drive to the east and Wilshire Boulevard to the south.
Within the Golden Triangle is a cluster of commercial streets brimming with shops and restaurants. The epicenter of this triangle, Rodeo Drive, is the fabled Beverly Hills’ shopping avenue, where the films, the famous and the fans all conspire.
BEVERLY HILLS // THE LEGACY
In 1926, Beverly Hills’ first first mayor was actor Will Rogers. This might have contributed to why so many visitors of Southern California often confuse Hollywood with Beverly Hills.
The real “Hollywood” is not a place, it is a state of mind – usually used as shorthand for the movie and entertainment industry. If you’re really looking for the gilded city, home to movie stars and posh dining and shopping, you’ll find it in Beverly Hills.
